Thank you for visiting my website where you can come with me on my captivating slide from literary illiteracy to authorhood.

I have just finished the first draft of my first novel which has been sent out to six alpha readers for their opinions on the story structure, plot, characters etc. This gives me a break and a chance to start this web-site that I am told, every good author must have.

It has also given me the chance to reflect over this journey and how far I have come. I realised that there are hundreds of people starting out where I did 18 months ago, who would love to read about my experience, which includes hiring a tutor, joining writing groups, critiquing others work, writing short stories for anthologies and reading, reading, reading. How it all began

  • The seed was planted many years ago when a family I was close to experienced a series of traumatic events that ultimately tore them apart. I witnessed firsthand the grief, anger, shock and resentment, and found myself wanting to understand what it must have been like for each person involved.
